Woodshop Production Associate

The Woodshop Production Associate is responsible for executing a variety of tasks surrounding the production of wooden anvil tops and handles. The Associate supports the production process by using the bandsaw, table saw, chop saw, belt sander, and drill press to prepare wood for final production stages. The Associate will also use the lathe to turn anvil handles and manufacturing jigs on the lathe to create finished anvil tops. This position will also be responsible for assisting with general shop cleanliness and maintenance.
Estimated Weekly hours: 16 - 32
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 9am-5pm, Garrity Tools operates with a four day work week
Compensation: Garrity Tools will pay $16/hr for a 30 day training period at the beginning of employment. Satisfying the requirements of the Job Description at 30 days will qualify the employee for a $1-$4/hr increase to $17-$20/hr depending on performance and prior experience.
